Initial Comments:
This report is the result of an occupancy survey conducted on March 27, 2024, at UPMC Magee, which included several areas of renovation. The first area surveyed was a file storage conversion to a dry storage area, followed by a room that previously was a nuclear medicine room which is now an exam room, followed by a room converted to a clean supply room, then a nourishment area for families, office space that had temporary dividers was replaced with a more permanent divider and lastly a door lock conversion. Based on the occupancy survey, it was determined the facility was in compliance with all applicable requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Health's Rules and Regulations for Hospitals, 28 Pa Code, Part IV, Subparts A and B, November 1987, as amended June 1998 and the current edition of the Guidelines for Design and Construction of Hospital and Health Care Facilities.
